An astute and sophisticated composition: a central field of solid-void forms carved with embroidery, creating a dynamic visual play for the eyes. Contrast this central field with the abstracted floral green and red end pieces that look to us like holiday snowflakes but most likely were not to their Islamic creators. Cheery and yet profound.
